While the prices are similar to what they have been in years past, 9to5Mac said Apple is offering deeper discounts on iPods and iPads with higher capacities.
For Macs, Apple will reportedly discount the iMac, MacBook Air, and MacBook Pro by $101 during the period of Apple’s Black Friday Deals.
Prices for the 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB iPads will all be reduced by $41-$61. The iPod nano will be $11 less for both the 8GB and 16GB models, and 9to5Mac said Apple will knock $21-$41 off the iPod touch.
You’ll also be able to nab deals on accessories, 9to5Mac said. The iPad 2 Smart Cover will cost $11 less, as will Apple’s Wireless Keyboard and Magic Trackpad. Other Apple-made accessories like AirPort Extreme, AirPort Express, and Time Capsule will also be cheaper.
Apple is also reportedly offering a $50 gift certificate to the iTunes Store for $45.
Also included in the sale are various third-party accessories, including Griffin Beacon Universal remote, Speck CandyShell cases for the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S, Jawbone Up, and a Phillips clock radio, among other products.
Apple’s discounts aren’t usually as deep as those offered by major retailers, but you’ll still be able to save some dough. In 2010, Apple’s sale included $101 off the iMac, MacBook Pro, and Macbook Air, as well as $41 off the iPad. As in years past, Apple also put an array of software and accessories on sale, such as its iPad case, wireless keyboard, iPad Dock, and Magic Mouse, as well as third-party accessories.
Apple isn’t alone in its Black Friday offerings. Hordes of retailers are touting sales on an assortment of products including laptops, tablets, HDTVs, and other items on your holiday shopping list.
