Why it’s a Scam:
Clicking on the wall post will take you to the following web page:
Clicking the “Jaa” button will share the scammer’s message with all of your Facebook friends! You will then be redirected a couple of times and end up on a website that is made to look like CNN:

At this point, they want you to install FREEzeFrog to continue. In their EULA and privacy policy, you are also advised of other items that will be downloaded to your computer. We decided to stop at this point, and advise you to do the same. The fact that the url is suspicious, and the sequence of events is almost exactly the same as other survey scams we have seen recently is reason enough to get the heck out of here.

How to Deal with the Scam:

You need to clean up your Facebook account so you won’t be spamming the same message that tricked you to your friends. Do this by removing the post from your Newsfeed and marking the post as Spam.  Do this by clicking the “x” in the top right hand corner of the post.

Always be careful about downloading special video players, search bars or other files from questionable sources. These are known tricks of scammers and are often used to deliver viruses, trojans and other malware. If you did download anything from the bogus CNN site, then you should do a complete system scan with a trusted anti-virus product.  If you or your Facebook friends are falling for tricks like this, it’s time to get yourself informed of the latest threats. Thank you for sharing with friends.
