Facebook provides you an option on profile of every person either to Report or Block the person, after clicking on that you can choose the most appropriate reason why the account is fake by stating the reason either as “fake-profile” option or something like “impersonation” etc.
If you come across an account that violates Facebook’s Terms:
- Go to the timeline
- Click the and then select Report/Block
- Choose a reason for your report (ex: This timeline is pretending to be someone or is fake)
- Choose a report type, if prompted
- Click Continue to submit your report
Facebook don’t allow accounts that:
Pretend to be you or someone else
Use your photos
List a fake name
Don’t represent a real person (fake accounts)
