It looks like Motorola is about to become the fourth company to launch its own Facebook phone, after HTC, INQ and more recently Vodafone, have released similar handsets.
There are quite a few companies that have released cellphones dedicated to the social network – Facebook – such as the Vodafone 555 that was put on sale last month, but it seems that Motorola wants to join the Facebook party and will soon release a new device also known as the Motorola EX225.
Although the company has yet to make it official, the guys over at UnwiredView dicovered the Motorola EX225 mobile phone within the Bluetooth SIG database.
There aren’t many exact details about the Motorola EX225, but we do know that it will have a full QWERTY keyboard, a 2.4-inch display screen, and on top of the special Facebook button there is also going to be a big Facebook integration on the UI – user interface. Rumors don’t mention that Android will be the operative system, so it is probably going to based on Brew.
Besides the Motorola EX225 with the Facebook button and integration, there is another model codenamed EX226 that won’t have the Facebook button and is actually a dual-SIM cellphone, meaning it can handle 2 SIM cards at the same time.
