Tuesday on National Pancake Day to raise awareness and funds for Shriners Hospitals for Children and other local charities.
Free pancakes at IHOP: From 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. today, IHOP restaurants are offering patrons a free short stack of buttermilk pancakes as part of National Pancake Day. In an effort to help Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, IHOP is also asking customers to consider leaving a donation. For more information or to find a location visit ihoppancakeday.com
For each short stack of buttermilk pancakes served Tuesday, IHOP guests are invited to make a voluntary donation to Shriners Hospitals for Children. IHOP hopes to raise $2.7 million this year. IHOP served four million free pancakes on National Pancake Day in 2011 and pancake lovers donated more than $2.5 million to children’s charities, exceeding the fund-raising goal of $2.3 million.
